There are four daily JoyBus departures from the Cubao terminal heading to Baler. Three trips run daily, while one additional trip is available on select days to accommodate weekend travelers.

The Friday and Saturday afternoon trip is a convenient option for those who can only leave after work on a Friday.

The 3:30 PM Baler departure runs only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays — helpful for travelers returning after a long weekend.
The 5:30 AM departure from Baler is popular with surfers who want to catch the early waves before heading home, while the afternoon trips suit those wrapping up a full day at Sabang Beach. The special 3:30 PM Monday trip is particularly useful for those taking advantage of long weekends.

Where to Buy JoyBus Tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance online — highly recommended as trips fill up quickly, especially on holiday weekends. You can also buy at physical JoyBus ticketing offices on the day of travel, but early online booking is strongly advised.

  • JoyBus seats sell out fast on Holy Week, Christmas, and long weekends.

Option 1: Grab or Taxi (Recommended for Luggage)

  • Book a Grab or take a metered taxi from any NAIA terminal.
  • Travel time: approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
  • Estimated Grab fare: ₱250–₱450 (may vary with traffic surcharges).
  • Best option if you have heavy bags or are traveling at odd hours.

Option 2: NAIA Express + MRT (Budget-Friendly)

  • Take the NAIA Expressway Bus from any terminal to Pasay/EDSA.
  • Board the MRT-3 (Metro Rail Transit Line 3) northbound at EDSA-Taft station.
  • Ride to Cubao Station — the terminal is a short walk away.
  • Total fare: approximately ₱60–₱80. Total travel time: ~1–1.5 hrs.

Option 3: Airport Bus + P2P Bus

  • Some P2P (Point-to-Point) bus services run routes from NAIA to Cubao/EDSA directly.
  • Check the UBE Express or Airport Bus Stop near your terminal for current routes.
  • Fare: approximately ₱60–₱100 depending on route.
